I have been told not to do it by my wife!, i can manage 8 miles running on the flat no problem but a 1000ft climb after a 6 mile run i am not so sure, would have prefered a harder cycle route with a shorter run myself is anyone doing the cairngorm adventure triathlon?

More than willing to wave you off from the Cas Carpark and welcome you back later.
Paul, if you can find a partner and you're keen (i.e mad) enough to do it then I'll sponsor you IF you agree to donate the sponsorship to The Cherished Uplift Fund. How about £100 if you are 1st reducing by £1 for every place back from 1st that you finish. Are we on?

Well the entry is in the post and yes I have a friend as daft as me who is my partner.

I am willing to do this as a sponsored event and your idea of £(100 - finishing position) sounds good to me. There is a limit of 100 team entries.

I will change our team name to "The White Lady Duo"

Anyone else want to sponsor me?

Paul,

in the true spirit of a sponsored run, if you both don some ski-related fancy-dress (race boots perhaps?!!) and adjust your team name slightly to "The White Ladies", then I'll match Alan's sponsorship offer for the fund (100-finish position)

Thanks for the offer Barry but we won't be dressing up or becoming Ladies for the day. Gordon and I are very competitive and our result/performance is more important to us than the sponsorship.

Hopefully you'd still like to sponsor us.
