Ok, enough is enough. The last few days have been absolutely unbelievbeable. Can the Ceefax crew stop issueing inacurate forecasts and concentrate on the current weather at the time of update.. I know that Nevis Range has been behaving itself here. Indeed, today they even hinted that that runs would be open soon. As for the others , well !!!!!For example The Lecht had today a temp of 5 degrees c ( warmer than Aberdeen ???)and Cairngorm was reporting insufficient snow , even though we know there must be enough on the Ptarmigan basin to run some kind of uplift.

CairnGorm report a 3000ft temp of 0°c then say it will be raining.... come on a bit of common sense... given the forecasts, and general trend in the weather this will fall as snow down to below the top basin, probably to around mid-station, and possibly lower late in the day.

It looks like CairnGorm is updating Ski Scotland with the Ceefax system info, exactly the same info yet much more could be put in Ski Scotland than on Ceefax.

It is currently -3 up there, so anythng falling will be snow!
