Help needed - Avalanche transceiver testing Aberdeen
Date Posted: 20.34hrs on Wed 17 Oct 12
My avalanche transceiver was playing up at the end of last season (transmitting but receiving well, ok for me but not ideal for anyone I was skiing with...) and I'm pretty keen to test it before this season to see if it needs warrantied or not.

Would anyone in the Aberdeen area mind giving up 15 minutes of their time in the next few weeks to help me to test it? Alternatively if there are enough people we could put together a testing/training session for a few hours somewhere?

that could be a fun test, find telemarkers office via tranceiver.

I'm over in Inverness and will be looking to do some practicing in the next few months.

Telemarker thanks, I'll send you a PM now.

Unfortunately receiving signals is the sketchy bit at the moment so finding him might be tricky that way!

I will be back in Inverness in 2 weeks if that helps. My tranceiver is at home. If that is not good, didnt Glenmore lodge set up a tranceiver test area out the back of the lodge.
