Me too! I've skied the east ridge and Baillie's loads of times but I'm always aprehensive about the flypaper. Would love to enter it just to see how I'd do (just don't come last!) but not really knowing the strength of the entrants, I fear I'd make a total erse of myself! Would love to give it a go though, am sure it would be a great laugh. Can Andy give any indication as to what sort of ski ability is required to enter without ending up looking like a total noob? winking smiley

JC, as long as you are comfortable on areas of steep slope like Baillies and East ridge, have a transceiver, shovel and probe (or can borrow) then absolutely no reason why you shouldn't enter. You choose your own line so you can make the descent as difficult or as hard as you choose. Anywhere on the face means that if you really wanted to you could traverse across and ski down the Spring run. You are judged on fluidity, style, aerials and speed and are marked down badly if not seen to be in full control. Highly unlikely you would end up last as that honour normally goes to those who take on too much and crash. It's normally a great atmosphere and competitors are normally hugely supportive of each other whatever the ability.

You can't be any worse than certain winterhighland members who are competing in the coe cup.

This will be the most boring, yet most entertaining 1* FWQ to watch.
