I was up at the Coe a few weeks ago for a walk - Vodafone now has a 4G transmitter - I presume from the same mast as the EE 4G near the Kingshouse (happy to be corrected if this is not the case).
Speed seems to be faster than EE, at least last time I tested it (around 50 Mb/s download), and VF actually was faster up the hill (whereas the EE speed dropped significantly as you went uphill
For VF, download speeds were 53 Mb/s at the base and 66 Mb/s at the top of the low road (near top of plateau)
Almost certainly this will use different radios on the mast so this gives Glencoe a degree of redundancy in their 4G links (although the backhaul will prob be a potential single point of failure)
Also what is relatively new is that all mobile companies offer fixed price, unlimited data plans - which they didn't a few years back.
Be interested to know if VF has appeared at the other ski centres too.
