Not much mentioned about snowsports

Snowsports?

This is about an exclusive resort. It's about the quietness and undeveloped beauty of a mountain, where you can walk for minutes with out stepping in a half buried, brown smeared hankie. It's about sipping the finest Tesco wines on your motor home doorstep before taking the "Cairngorm carriage" to the "Ptarmigan Pamper Parlour". With it's Strathy award winning restaurant, you can indulge yourself in local delicacies like "Square sausage" and "Chips N Cheese". It's about detoxing, being birched by obese ginger masseurs in a newly fitted sauna at the Mid station. Or succumbing to a defoliating deep granite and quartzite rub down outside on the "Beauty Balcony". It's about remembering the experience every-time you pick up your exclusive "Hey Jimmy Tam O Shanter complete with ginger hair" or "Genuine Haggis fur handbag" purchased from the "Shop at the Top".

Given the core nature of their buisness I guess the prefered bid by natural retreats will include some kind of hotel or self catering lodges directly associated with, or on, the mountain. Hotel de la Ciste perhaps ?

The obvious question has to be asked if this is the public interest given the massive funds invested in the funicular to date ? IMHO only if they commit to upgrading the lift network.... If the handover goes ahead then almost certain that HIE will be using it as a front to plough a "buisness development grant" (i.e further subisdy) into Cairngorm at the expense of the other scottish ski areas. HIE have already given Natural Retreats a grant of £1.8 million to build a hotel in John O Groats....

You know it, the Hotel shuts in the winter and is built on an ancient ski resort graveyard. (Gas axe massacres).
