No info on Season Pass prices yet been made available (but they have been decided on), however a CairnGorm Adult Day Ticket will be £34.50 next season.

Full price list (currently excluding season passes): [www.cairngormmountain.org]

So an (all but) 3% increase in day ticket price at Cairngorm - versus current wage freezes or 1% pay offers for the common working man.

My view is that that the price is just about justifiable when the majority of lifts are running - but is completely indefensible and a total rip off when they charge full wack for use of the likes of only the train, Cas and Ciste tows....After all, it's a LIFT ticket not a TERRAIN OPEN ticket.

nevis range leading the way again;

Loyalty discounts for 2014/15 are 10% discount for season ticket holders in 13/14 and 15% discount for season ticket holders in 12/13 + 13/14
Season ticket holders receive a 30% discount on full price day tickets at any other Scottish ski area
Season tickets are valid on the Gondola during summer until we shut for annual maintenance, mid Nov 2015
Discounted slope time at Snow Factor to be confirmed.

if there's cover at nevis and you're coming up the A9 from south of dalwhinnie, why bother with cairngorm? nevis is just as close and likely to be a better day.

Despite favourable forecasts, the last twice we've tried Nevis, the wind blasting along the valley meant it was stormbound at opening time. More than a little frustrating after a 300 mile drive.

That's led us to favour Cairngorm - as windy or not we can get some skinning in and guarantee a few turns.

Early bird discount,will it happen or is it a thing of the past? Are they still deciding how expensive they can make a season before people give it a miss.

There will be 150 of them for sale, price will be a modest increase on last year. They will be on sale by end of month, should have the actual price to post here later next week.

Let's just say I expect demand will outstrip supply so you'll want to get in quick!

Is that the usual amount available ? i always thought they would sell a lot more than that.

i wonder if cairngorm are avoiding a season pass boycott .. by not offering season passes. a good way to ensure the enthusiasts go elsewhere and then only have to deal with the new and uninformed.

Re All Areas Pass

I emailed Nevis Range and was informed that they are not sold to new customers but first refusal goes to people who have had them before. After that new customers are allowed if the allocation has not been reached. I am first on the reserve list I have been informed :-)
