The last time I dropped in on snow was nearly 2 years ago. Strange skinning along that ridge after so long.

Hi

Aside from me there was someone else taking photos of you guys, a snow boarder looking for some wind for kite boarding. He had both a better camera and a better vantage point. Wonder if he is on here?

been up last 4 days kipping in the van, great snow. Tiger was great this pm. I was wondering why hasn't there been any snow making this week? must have been cold enough and little wind. Lots of stones and not much depth to cover around the cairnwell cafe/t bar surely a night or 2 snow making would help as its not going to survive Sunday.

other than that a great few days, staff cheerier and grooming excellent.

Anyone know what the crack is today at Glenshee. Reports suggest that Baddoch and Cairnwell chairs are both off because of wind. Also Plastic Slope Poma shown as off. Does this mean people have to walk up to Cairnwell cafe area? If so, that would be a real bind, and very difficult with small kids. Shame.

glenshee copes with winds better than other resorts which are higher, and a SW leaves most runs cairnwell side leeward of the wind

wind maps on netweather make it anyones guess what the wind will be like on the resort over the weekend, top of the peaks will difficult for sure

again wind blowing snow on the road and visibility may be biggest issue, weekend for the hardy types only...or those with season tickets willing to take a gamble

Today was generally a very good day, cairnwell Tbar off for a bit in morning made access poma very busy but but hardy Tbar openned and took some of the strain, caenlochan openned about 11am with corrie fionn not long after, corrie fionn was super busy until 2.30pm and got very quiet by 4pm so was lapped until legs gave in. So lots of runs first and last thing, patience in between. Snow was hard refrozen base from Friday with some new on top, some drifts were fun, road from South was perfect lots of good work had it black from bottom to carpark at 7.15am when I arrived...first carpark full, second had a good number of rows, so some good business for GS, cafe very busy at 5pm, so till was still buzzing... Def worth it, let's hope we get so lucky on Sunday

I was a Glenshee early on Saturday with my granddaughter.
We had a great day of sliding all over the place.
Snow was pretty good with no real problems apart from a tip up when almost stopped on the flat. what a bugger.

Well done to Glenshee - glad I bought a season ticket now 51/2 days so far

I do like Glenshee its got a great vibe to it.

Any news on Glas Maol coming into play or is it just waiting for a bit more snow on a wee northerly to get us all out to play.

Look forward to skiing The Shee again soon! grinning smiley

Great vis at Glenshee today with the sun out most of the day,but cold and a lot of snow gone with the Sunday thaw.
Glas Maol took a big hit and hopefully the forecast blizzards at the weekend will fix things up.
Had 4 days on my season ticket so far all of them great sunny days

Does anyone else find there are no magnifying glasses (for zooming in) on the panoramic webcam any more. Or is it just me?

They vanished a few days ago, not sure why. I did try reporting the problem via the contact page, the person who responed said they couldn't see anything wrong with the webcam page. I've sent a further message, since I have a suspicion they may have throught I was refering to the +/- picture zoom button, rather than magnified zooms. No answer yet.
