Great day up at Glenshee today snow holding up well considering the amount of wall to wall sunshine this week. The East facing slopes are pretty loaded with nice snow and although the West facing slopes are a bit thin it looks like some hard grooming work is paying off. Never went over to Coire Fionn today so can't really comment on conditions over there but I would doubt if we will see Glas Maol open this season unless it catches a serious dump of snow and extended low temps. All in all it's well worth a visit at the moment. However £30 midweek when the whole hill is not open is a bit steep.
16 lifts for £30 is still the best deal in Scotland!
I was up today having been off the hill all week. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of snow still there. I was expecting Sunnyside & Claybokie to start showing holes but both are holding up.
Also just noticed Carn Aosda is down as 'opening' for tomorrow.
Expecting a very busy weekend with half term round 2.
