a friend of mine who doesn't ski told me today that he has bought a couple of these

and wonders if he can get them on the lifts at Scottish ski resorts ?

I know a couple of the lifties at Glenshee have adapted mountain bikes etc but can,t recall seeing anyone in Scotland on the slopes on them.

I searched on the internet but came up blank,i will phone Glenshee tomorrow but
just interested in others experience.

Ive seen people using, for lack of a better name, snow bikes a couple of times at glenshee and elsewhere.
I expect Glenshee would not allow these as these are more like toys compared to adapted mountain bikes. These look great fun but a little uncontrollable, unlike snow bikes...
IMO

Adaptive snow bikes are fine at Glencoe but these are basically just fancy toy sledges so definitely wouldn't be allowed up the tows at Glencoe. Sorry about that.
