A sign of the multi layered bureaucracy that our daily lives are blighted by. Even though the relevant Scottish Government department has, with due public fanfare, 'awarded' ski resorts with funding for specific enhancements to their offerings, it is still necessary to go to the local 'elected representatives' for them to put in their 'two penneth'. Pathetic! In their regular update Glencoe Mountain detailed how the funding was awarded after they and others had consulted on what improvements they are proposing and where those improvements would be made. Just let Andy & co get on with it free of the bureaucracy !

why is the bottom lift run so slow, is it to save the ol bugger's ticker or something else? It takes such a long time to get to the top. I dont know anyone that doesn't ride that beast without losing the sense in their fingers by the time you get to the top.

Going up the other day with the wee ones and wondered if it would make sense to put in a moving walkway at the bottom (and another for getting on at the top) so that the chair could then run full-tilt and half the time up the hill. I guess the question comes down to would it be one of the best uses of scarce investment funds? Might help attract a lot more coach tours to ride the chair if it was a lot quicker.

One other thing I would love to see is a timed slalom course. Would definitely help get us there more often.

A possibility Igloo/Andy?
