Cross country beginner routes near Inverness
Date Posted: 00.37hrs on Thu 26 Feb 15
Hey all

Looking to get out skiing this weekend with a friend who is a total beginner. Usually go to the slochd or daviot (if snow decent), but looking for more ideas.

Especially as there is rain on the way, so was thinking about going up to the carpark at cairngorm - but I'd have no idea where to go from there for beginner routes, that'd be reasonably interesting, and naviagatable on forest-trail type skis (skinless, with no metal edges and long)

I don't mind breaking trail so they can follow in it, just looking for good routes, likely to have snow, and interesting but not too serious down/uphill.

Ideas?

Cheers
