Great weekend with Coe Cup and party atmosphere. Mixed weather with great snow cover on upper and mid mountain. All runs open and tows operating.
Still able to ride to with 10/15 minutes walk back to car park.
Looks like from Wednesday this wekk onwards will bring more snow to the mighty Coe.

That infuriatingly slow moving shower over lunchtime did eventually clear to leave a decent afternoon. There was a dusting of new snow on the upper mountain last night, but a slight loss from the Plateau Area.

^Old Mugs Alley off the new Coire Pollach Tow is the pick for green terrain and still in good shape.

^Looking up the Main Basin. Mid and Upper Mountain runs generally in good shape, the exception being sections of Etive Glades.

Best snow was on the upper runs today, slower mid-mountain, but the Canyon and Thrombosis were good fun.

It is still ski off the Access Chair and onto the Poma and you can head to either Old Mugs Alley or Mugs Alley from the Poma for access to other lifts. It is possible to ski to the Top of the Access via either the Low Road or via Old Mugs Alley then down the Access Return. The Poma run itself is broken at the top, if skiing this run there is a gap in the uptrack fence that allows you to get off before the break in the run. For access the Poma uptrack is still flat and easy to ride.

Some pretty beefy April snow showers at Glencoe on Wednesday, occasionally squally with blowing snow in the heavier showers. Upper mountain nice dry windblown fresh, Plateau and base of the middle runs the snow suddenly transitioned from quick to slow, but they should speed up with cooler temperatures and further snow showers this evening.

Pick of the Day was probably Happy Valley which kept getting topped up and saw very little use, so fresh lines even late afternoon. Those that got the Spring Run first thing might disagree!

^Getting the windblown fresh in Ski Tow Gully.

^Moody Spring Run with drifting snow and Sun.

^Old Mugs Alley is the best of the Plateau runs for those wanting green terrain. Heavy snow shower from outside the Plateau Cafe.

What you never expect to see on a ski slope - two Network Rail workers walking up the Main Basin T bar tow track searching for a cable!

Fresh snow overnight with a dusting to Carpark level. Still some showers to come on the radar, but some brighter spells developing with light winds expected.

Had my yearly spring trip to glencoe yesterday

staff excellent as always, lunch in plateau cafe was good, cakes afterwards was well received by my two little ones

conditions not changed much since last review here, plateau poma still just hanging in their for easy access to midmountain and getting back to chairlift, upper mountain still loaded to give access to all fields, sets up a bit hard as you would expect in spring, pisted bits allows some skiing while the rest warms up (prefer more pisting but thats the glenshee in my bones) park is basic but fun (see pisting comment) use for race training doesnt effect normal customers, although deep turning trenches around gates will accelerate snow pack melt in that area... only trouble getting through to May holiday weekend will be run back down plateau and enough customers

Be Nice to Skiers, they have it hard enough already

Some photos from Wednesday, lack of them from the upper mountain due to hill fog. Much brighter day forecast for Thursday with light winds, should be good!

^Plateau Poma still going, ski off the Chair and over to the Poma. Run is narrow but still complete for return to the Access Chair.

^Lower Main Basin below the Haggis Trap - which is still filled flat.

Snow stayed hard all day on the upper mountain, some loosening mid-mountain later in the day, so most stayed on the Main Basin and Happy Valley which groomed up nicely in the morning. Combo of Mugs Alley, Bunny Run and Old Mugs Alley was popular off the Cliffy as it softened up to granular spring snow.

More snow forecast to move in during Sunday and overnight into Monday.

^Main Basin was the best riding in the morning.

^Old Mugs Alley still in decent shape for green level terrain.

^Skier braves the Spring Run, but it wasn't very Spring like!

Private corduroy stash for the few lapping the Main Basin in the first hour today! Looks good for some classic Spring riding this week before snow possibly returns st the weekend.

Fantastic day of classic spring riding at Glencoe on Tuesday and should be more of the same on Wednesday and Thursday. Sunny spells, light winds and less cold temperatures mean the snow should quickly loosen into great granular spring snow, but with dry air and light winds overall little snow loss.

^Spring Run living up to it's name.
