Not sure how the temporary road will cope with a decent amount of weekend
ski traffic but at least it looks like access from the north/east will be possible again soon. [twitter.com]

It's not the washed away bit of road that is preventing access to Glenshee from the North beyond Braemar, it's the damaged Invercauld Bridge for which there isn't a local diversion. the bridge is expected to reopen next week.

The section of road being replaced at the Micras is a tarmac 2 lane road with no weight restrictions but with a 20 mph speed limit. This is due to be open Saturday 16th. Invercauld Bridge is nearly fixed Council are saying 18th to open but there are hopes locally that it will also be open on the 16th
