Gear on bus to Cairngorm?
Date Posted: 18.58hrs on Sat 5 Mar 16
I am looking for a bit of advice from anyone who has used the number 31 bus to get from Aviemore to Cairngorm Mountain.

I will be hiring Skis, Boots, Poles and Helmet, and plan to hire in Aviemore or Coylumbridge to avoid queing at the mountain. Do the drivers mind people taking ski gear on the bus? Do I need to make sure everything is in a bag or is OK to take it loose?

Many thanks

David

Most people take stuff loose on the bus, though a bag might make it a bit easier to manage, you can stuff some other stuff in the ski bag too.

The first bus up may get priority as it will have staff on it & you'll get dropped off at the day lodge
