Reminds me of getting a parking ticket two weeks at the initial price then in kicks the punitive fine
Totally pissed off bout this .Is there anywhere else in the skiing world where people are asked to pay this far in advance.
Its a shame we are so meek that we just accept a situation like this when I think every single season ticket holder should boycott this ridiculous scenario or at least show some sort of protest
Seem to remember Cgorm extended the early bird price for an extra six weeks last year presumably due to not selling enough tickets!!!!!
Finally what about the irony that my present season ticket is valid till end of November !!!!!!!!!!

Rant not over!

I think the way they have priced their Season Tickets is an excellent idea !

Maybe now all the Sheep who populate the slopes on Cairngorm might finally do something about the shambles that populates the inner reaches of the Day Lodge ?

Having been very very actively involved in trying to get change up there for many Seasons, including being Banned for two !!.....not just before that other dodgy outfit HIE gave it to the equally dodgy NR........my suggestion is that you folk who are ranting on here should be doing something else !

In this modern day of the Internet so many are fairly directly contactable....MP's..MSP's...Enterprise Concerns...even directors of Natural Retreats !

So, come back on here to tell us all what you have achieved (if anything)

Oh and don't bother contacting the hill's general manager Janette Jansson and Ops 1 Colin Matthew ! Both are fully adept at not answering any form of correspondence !

What ya get banned for?

Could make it a challenge for next season, who can get banned for the best reason?

In today's Strathy CML say they'll reconsider but weasel words used in their response - "We will consider and evaluate the feedback and make the decision to extend the beginning for the promotion by maybe another month".

As of this evening the final cut off for the lowest price season pass remains 31st May on the CML website.

Apparently extended until the end of June now. Lack of sales perhaps?

Now updated on the CML website but now jumps £40 at the end of June, so still £87 more for a pass bought in September than equivalent last year. Lecht, Glencoe and Glenshee Early Bird cut off is 31st October and Nevis Range is usually during second week of November.

Treating your loyal customers with contempt will just lead yet more people to give up on Cairn Gorm.

A season pass price hike of over 25% [Sept '15 vs Sept '16] cannot be justified. There is nothing new for snowsports customers.

The 2015/16 season saw another fall in market share to a level that is believed to be an all time low.....until next seasons figures are published!!

This makes the All Areas Pass even more attractive now. You can ski at CG and they get none of your money!

Their target audience rarely drive themselves so they might start charging tae keep the plebs oot, they'll probably rub out a few car park spaces and paint a big H too...

I've noticed other resorts offering discounts for students and some public services for some reason.. I think people that work for BAE, Raytheon etc should be charged more if they cant be banned...

This does seem like an excellent way of persuading people who are flexible in their choice of skiing destination to choose to buy a season season pass elsewhere.

and for those of us who already do so, to advocate it to those who don't.
