I think £17, fair price for what there is open.

Not sure what the crack is with opening further out, but I guess it takes time to get up to speed. Looks good for touring everywhere though

Went up on Friday when it was £17 for the day - very limited uplift available restricting things to pretty much just the runs either side of the road.

The snow which was there was nice, and it was a perfect day for it with blue skies and no wind. Defo seems to have been the best day to get up.

Sadly, as it got a bit busier and queues started forming, running the same runs over and over started to lose its appeal somewhat - I ended up calling it a day around 2pm.

More lifts running now, but conditions not quite as 'nice'.

Warmer later this week though so I think getting a day in whilst I could was probably wise.

Much better overhead on Sunday than predicted in the forecast, plenty of sun in the morning and good contrast all day. Shame about the Tiger closing after enough time for just a few laps in the late morning. As sometimes happens, the sastrugi/wind ridges on the Tiger began breaking up after a few runs, creating a much improved surface.
The wind direction was swirling about and varied a lot all day, so significant shifting and new accumulations will have occurred. We trotted over to the back of Carn Aosda at one stage, hoping for softer snow in the lee of the hill; instead of the expected shelter from the easterly, we found a raging northerly running straight up the corrie. Made getting the skins on a bit more involving than usual! There is significant loading high up, just NW of the cairn and therefore overlooking the east side of that corrie, so keep your risk radar running.
On balance, a good day out and top value for £24. Plenty of cars up too, so hopefully a rewarding day for Glenshee.

Got up yesterday afternoon and had a good 2-3 hours in reasonable light on Sunnyside. Gave Butcharts Coire a try but it wasn't up to much. Forecast of fog today meant we put off coming back through Glenshee until afternoon again - to find blue skies and fab conditions on Sunnyside and Tom Dearg. Spotted a lot of skiers heading down the Tiger, many of them falling over!
I don't know how Glenshee did it. On all sides we could see heavy clouds beyond the resort, while we enjoyed bluebird conditions, light wind, great runs.
What a start to the season!

Forgot to mention - the Piste bashers were at work on Meall Odhar, doing the Home Run and the Caenlochan (most northerly) runs quite thoroughly. Looked like Caenlochan uptrack was pisted as well, but still frozen on the top three poma towers at 4 pm, so more work to be done before they are open - hopefully tomorrow for those not back at work like I will be. :-(

It is dry and the wind is falling light from the West, so there's a bit of hope that there won't be much further thawing overnight and the snow may firm up and dry out a bit allowing the piste bashers to do some work. West aspects had the most snow, so the North side of the Sunnyside Pomas and the Caenlochan likely to be the best options - hopefully they still connect together.

Would really try and check the latest updates in the morning, but it might Friday or bust. More rain showers expected Saturday and a freshening wind again.

Radar suggests there has been a couple of inches of snow this evening and there should have been a fair bit of drifting as the wind freshened. A93 Snowgates are closed at present and this is the top of the Slide:
