6 days Antarctica - Dec
17 days Japan - Jan
6 days Canada - Feb
3 days Port du Soleil - Mar
1 day Back corries, Aonach Mor - Mar
7 days Lofoten, Norway - Apr
5 days West Fjords, Iceland - Apr
1 day Ben Nevis #3 gully – May

Alps had comfortably the worst snow!

Both Scottish days were among the most memorable of the year - and for the right reasons with good snow & weather. I am picky!

In a word, pish.

3 touring days in Scotland on heather/rocks and a wee bit of snow. The best one in November!
8 days in Grimentz over xmas. Rubbish. Broke a ski. :-(
5 days in Grimentz in April. Somewhat rescued things, thank goodness.

West Fjords was beautiful and very quiet...no other skiers around. Good terrain and a nice drive from Reykjavik. Unfortunately they'd also suffered the same mild winter as most of Europe, so there was a limited base.

Also the current exchange rate is ridiculous - it makes Norway look cheap!!! I skied on the Troll peninsula 2 years ago, and the exchange rate has doubled in those 2 years.

Icelanders are great people - very friendly. Try contacting Borea adventures. A fairly laid back guiding operation and some room for haggling on price!

Scotland - None, first time in 8 years I havent skied a single day up north

Colorado - 16 days
Italy - 6 days
BC - 14 days

By usual standards a limited season due to not getting my ~30 days in scotland.
