We heard yesterday, at the artificial slope drop in session, that the proposed snowflex slope will be good for expert and advanced skiers/boarders because it will clear the slopes of beginners leaving them free for everyone else. Great news.....we can all lap the Ptarmigan Tow all day without any beginners in the way.
That really does sum it up.....they have no idea about the market they are in.

Another epic fail.

To be fair....the £4m coming from the public purse is a loan and will have to be repaid......will it not!

That's the Coire na Ciste Chairlift down as off 6pm this evening.

If this was worth saving, structure and mechanics then why none the other resorts try n get it before it got dropped?

I know of one that did! They only heard about the demolition plans at the same time we did... enquiries were made urgently about acquiring some of the tower infrastructure, but - and despite the request being made before demolition begun - it was apparently to no avail.
