I hope the mods do not mind me posting this as thought there may be folk out there interested in work either as seasonal, or full time that love the outdoors. So a copy of advert below. Please feel free to pass around...

BMS are looking for a part time and full time sales assistants to work here in our shop in Braemar.

• Full time sales assistant/ski tech. It’s a chance to join a great team of keen outdoor enthusiasts, working in one of the leading ski/outdoor shops in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and a stone’s throw from Scotland’s largest ski resort, Glenshee. Applicants should have a keen interest in the outdoors and skiing. An enthusiastic attitude and being genuinely customer focused is more important than having retail experience, as product training will be given. Whilst we are looking for full time staff, we will also consider seasonal staff.

• We are also currently looking for a hardworking individual for our brand new country wear department with in our shop. Someone who has a passion for the outdoors and providing superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and enthusiasm for outdoor and country sports. They must be highly organised, an excellent communicator, experienced and confident when dealing with customers.

Candidates will ideally have

• A background and passion for the outdoors and equipment
• Experience in retail / customer service environment
• Solid organisational and IT skills
• A vibrant and bubbly personality
• Be self-motivated and also happy to work as a team member.
• An excellent and engaging telephone manner

The package

• Salary will be commensurate with experience.
