So now the lecht have announced a snow factory! How long before Glenshee and NR follow suit.

Seems scotland will be keeping Technoalpin in business this year lol

Great news! The Lecht have a long history of snowmaking, so this is good to see.
GS have purchased additional cannons in the last few years, so I'm not holding my breath on a them getting a snow factory one as well, but never say never. That said, if this spurs GS to use there existing system more aggressively to maintain coverage on the runs around the Cairnwell cafe it would provide an interesting comparison with the snow factories.
However, with all this snowmaking equipment heading north, I predict a bumper season for natural snow with lifts being buried...

Great news, I did send an email to Glenshee to see if they have any similar plans, this is the response I got from Glenshee,
Thank you very much for your suggestion , we have been thinking along the same lines but we would like to see how successful it is at both Cairngorm and Glencoe before we explore the possibility of funding for one at Glenshee.
