Have you ever walked in or out from there in either lean or no snow? Massive boulder fields on steep ground. We’ve carried gear in and out for the webcams round the side of the hill and that was hard going, a stretcher is a 6man carry job without the snow traverse, it’s practically a scramble in bits. Because of the gradient and massive boulders it requires a huge depth to be able to cut a cat track in/out.

On a related point, nevis range has no plans to replace/expand any of it's current uplift right? Or are there any wild rumors?

If the previous owner never 'saved' Glencoe then I wonder wit plans Nevis had for the Access chair they planned to remove after buying Glencoe which I believe was very close tae happening at the time before someone got pished and bought the place.....

Rumour had it that it was the engine on the back chair that wis reason for it not running enough when enough snow had landed, or has that little pony been replaced by some horses and torque and it's something else now?

I think the braveheart should definitely be left as is.

If I was able to make a few changes to Nevis Range, it would be

A) to move the Great Glen Chairlift, with it facing uphill, its valley station located were it currently is, its top station below warrens T-bar.

cool smiley Double up the summit button. I think a detachable poma might be better suited to this task so all the hangers are gathered in at night

C) Relocated Rob-Roy T-Bar to act as an exit lift for the back. The beginners have enough terrain anyway.

On a good note, I notice a lot of new snow fencing and depots of timber across the mountain this year. Nevis Range don't seem to publicise their on-going work schedule like Glencoe & CG.
