Streamers sounds right.. Last night was a hit and miss in places for snow not too far apart, cloud was moving fast fae the east but the winds were blasting in fae the north.. Not ventured out the day yet, I'll try and get pics if I can be arsed moving later.

The back of the Campsies always look like they would be fun for those daft enough, the north path along loch Lomond should be awright for cross country with some views here as it should be fairly sheltered fae the wind too..

My bed and 30tog is just way toooo freaking comfy!!

For those that took my advice and are as smashed as I am, " Sullivan's Winter - An Off-Peak Exploration Of Wild Scotland" Pure class!!

Edit- Glasgow/Dumbarton road was black 15mins ago, couple of inches down on it since then, pretty wild out there at the moment.....

Currently 8 inches in Braemar and with lots more in the forecast it’s looking positive for Glenshee once the snowgates reopen.

Ya'd think the Ski resorts trained the fecking council round here on how tae clear roads/car parks.. Snow was up past the sills on a standard car, snow shoes would get anti hipster bullets whizzing past ya in Clydebonk so I walked for a bit............................

Pic wi the shed which sits in a very sheltered area has 10inch pots each side of the door, the drift in front of the hanging baskets is like most of the streets around here with the odd wind packed or scoured bit...

18" to 2' in around the North Pennines. Although Great Dun Fell is showing gusts to 105mph. Hartside weather station thinks it's getting gusts to 130mph. Generally good for snow patches on the high Pennines. Waiting for reports / clear webcam shots from Weardale and Yad Moss. Direction should be very good for a lot of the Weardale lines including the main gully

MWIS forecasting Hurricane Force winds for the Lakes and Pennines, could extend to the Lowther Hills for a time. That might be the M6 / A74 and WCML stuffed tomorrow!

Hahaha WTF? POWDER up the toon? Glasgow is in Scotland though and it just doesn't happen here according to the 'experts'. Bearsden shut?

I'm bored out my nut, been lightly snowing for a while but the wind has picked up and is rearranging the drifts. Most snow I've seen here since I was in primary school though, aye we went tae school and terrorised the massive gritting crews that were out before the wimp gene kicked intae the public. Poor weans these days have nae fun sad smiley
