Andy,
I am surprised you have not took up a prolific poster’s suggestion of building wind walls all over Meall a’ Bhuirde.

Build the App! Build the wall!

You could solve the problem by a tunnel network and lift to the summit - only wind issues would be ones in confined spaces. Maybe a bunker complex as well then season ticket holders can survive any on coming apocalypse and emerge to repopulate the brave new world.

Bruce, most excellent idea!
All we need is some clever IT person to build an App for it.

I'll buy shares in a tunnel boring machine, could sell the spoil tae cairngorms tae build some terrain to make it interesting, then send the thing under the irish sea tae build a smuggling route tae keep the left of these isles fed and armed for when theresa may hatches out her human shell.. I'll leave yous my seeds for I'll be out finding the bunkers the inbred are in and filling the ventilation pipes with clothes from all native cultures of the world...

I'm pretty sure one of two was looking at a temporary aircraft hanger of sorts for over the plateau years ago, probably a drunken thought but they looked into it anyway and not long after their was one left...

Has there been any progress this summer with the new chairlift at Glencoe?

I notice from the webcam images, that the 'Snow Factory' has been move up to the plateau.

App, App! Can do you a lectern at the bottom of the dry slope made from string and paper. Spread the word to the jager fuelled masses from there. Maybe stretch to buying a bit of tunnel; Cairngorm seem to have some going spare. The ark of Glencoe is go.

Isn’t it the new garage for the piste bashers?

Hi Bruce,
We need a pulpit not a lectern! So then various Jaeger fuelled lay preachers can take their turn is prostlesising how to improve the running of a Scottish ski resort.
I’m expecting suggestions ranging from brown paper & string to shifting the orbit of planet earth.

Great to see Glencoe Mountain Centre making steady and well planned progress to improving their infrastructure.

Not long until the snow comes.

Webcam shows good progress on the piste basher garage.

Perhaps an option for a future replacement of the Plateau café would be a similar steel frame building, except with windows and modular units aligned inside ? Could be a robust, flexible and quick to construct solution but would probably lack character ?
