If there is any public money involved they should be told to FO. Anyone from HIE giving them money should be sacked for gross incompetence especially in light of NR failure to do essential maintenance on the lifts as required by their franchise.

Either 2020 or 2021 (can't mind of the top of my head) the grant funding conditions that require repayment to HIE of grants for development of the Inn at John o' Groats that would become payable if NAIL sold the company / property expire. I suspect this isn't about development that NAIL are planning, but seeking to increase the potential sale value of site.

Though one to watch is that NAIL have a planning application with the Highland Council for land above the A9 between Foulis Ferry and Alness for 40 odd holiday lodges.

CML was the only part of NAIL generating cash, take CML out of the last set of accounts and the turnover of around £6.2m goes down to around £2m. The loss that year was £6.5m on a £6.2m turnover - how does that look without CML, about a £10m loss on £2m turnover? eye rolling smiley
