Glenshee Snow 2019
Date Posted: 19.16hrs on Sat 16 Mar 19
Glenshee only had the Cairnwell side opened today, but it was dumping constantly throughout the day and felt pretty good underfoot.

With more snow forecast tomorrow, followed by a break in the weather on Monday, it'll be worth phoning in sick for!

Heres to all those nay-sayers writing off the winter of 2019 two weeks ago.

A brilliant day today. Started off with nice fresh snow in the morning, the Tiger was in great form as were the race tracks. Cairn Aosda came on after lunch too.

The rise in temperatures softened the snow in the afternoon which made the skiing a bit less enjoyable. At this point I went over for a very quick recky to Corrie Fionn which I was very surprised to see was in far better shape than I've seen it in many 'good' seasons. Better yet, it was sheltered from the sun and rising temps so was very pleasant to ski. Even the home run was well loaded and the Clunies. Sadly Caenlochan and Meal Odhar are very bare, if only there was a chairlift here!
