Newtownmore to Cairngorm Sat 14th
Date Posted: 21.08hrs on Tue 10 Feb 09
Hi am going up for my first visit of the season this season on Friday with my G/F and was wondering if anyone was travelling from or through Newtownmore to Cairngorm on Sat 14th. Will obviously pay half the petrol...

Many thanks

If you don't get a lift and want to be up the hill for the first lift, there is a bus from Newtonmore (that leaves from opposite the Craig Mhor Hotel) at 7.23am on Saturday, get off at the Cairngorm Hotel in Aviemore, cross the road and join the bus to CairnGorm which leaves at 7.56 and gets to the Daylodge for around 8.20am.

that sounds like an excellent suggestion-was just not liking the idea of having to get a taxi all the way to aviemore and from my research the train does go till about 9ish and that is obv. way too late....Should the bus arrive in plenty of time for us to get across the road to the ski bus?-from my memory doesn't it depart from near the Tourist info?
