Ancient pictures: Construction of a T-bar
Date Posted: 23.49hrs on Tue 23 Feb 10
Hi

My name is Daniel and I'am from Switzerland. Recently I got the following pictures from the archive of the defunct swiss skilift manufacturer Mueller Lifts (also known as GMD). Mueller Lifts built skilifts all over the world including Scottland.

I think this pictures where taken in Scottland (because of the landscape, correct me if I'm wrong). Could this be? My guess was Glenshee, but I have no idea which skilift it could be.

Maybe one of you is able to identify the t-bar:

Hi Daniel, I'm afraid that this is not a Scottish lift.

I am no Glenshee expert... But judging from the distinctive pylons, that looks like very much like an early incarnation of the Cairnwell T-Bar ?

Before the road was upgraded and the devils elbow removed ?
