Re-proofing Snowboard/Ski Trousers
Date Posted: 18.24hrs on Wed 7 Feb 07
I was wondering if this is at all possible?
I have some snowboard trousers that are spot on and nicely waterproof in every area . . . apart from the arse eye popping smiley(
I want to know if it is possible to re-treat them (or at least the backside area)?

Nikwax(doesnt require heat to activate it) or if your are tight then Comfort Pure fabric conditioner (it needs the clothing to be ironed afterwards)

If it's white foamy stuff, then you've got residual soap from last washing? - Give it a wash with no soap, nd that'll get the foam rinsed out of it.

Some jackets need washing & reproofing with specialist stuff, like NikWax TechWash and TXdirect, to get them back to the way they were when new.

Thanks for your help guys. I bought some Nikwax wash in stuff and then I also used the Nikwax spray to re-proof after washing.
The pants are currently laid flat in the garage drying.
Thanks again for your help and I will let you know if it worked after I visit Xscape in Cas on Thursday.
Cheers,
Andy.
