Nah too far away from the ski areas.
My dream location would be 20 min drive max and 5 min to the pub!

Hope it's at least a hundred feet above sea level, otherwise climate change will be bringing the view of the Tay a whole lot nearer those windows..!
Handy for biking on the singletrack of Tentsmuir forest though.

How many of you folk are local to the Tay? - I'm just over at Drumoig!

Used to be at the waterside in Tayport. - don't recognise the dream home, whereabouts?

PS: only 1hr from Glenshee, so not too far really, and a nice drive if you're into it.

Here is mine, 'cos we bought it before Xmas.

Paul, you'd like it. 15 mins to the skiing and 3/4 mins walk to the pub - 40p a pint ;op

Enjoy...

Chappers

shame link doesn't work. Got any photos to show us?
Will be buying a home close to the slopes (and a pub!) in the next 6 months or so.

I fancy buying somewhere abroad eventually - as long as it's in Whistler!!
Olderalan knows why.

To HTH: I'm just up the road at Eassie, near Glamis. Handy for Glenshee, very handy for biking to work over the Sidlaws to Dundee for the lighter parts of the year. Have managed it at least once in every calendar month, modern lights are a laugh. Got some trails starting right by the front door too.
Just under two hours to Nevis or Cairngorm, even the Lecht when it has snow and we're desperate enough.
Great house, can see Glas Maol, Glen Clova and Ben Lawers on a good day.

Glamis eh? - Handy for Angus Glens, Clova, Coire Fee etc. - Used to ride road miles with Dundee Wheelers, but that was years & kilos ago winking smiley

in Sidlaws my favourite road is Tullybaccart hill, and the chase down to Dundee past Piper Dam. - Still feels fast in my lardy condition.

I moved back to here, after years in flatlands of East Anglia, and looking forward to opening at Glenshee, and some ice in Coire Fee.

I'm on the edge of Tentsmuir, and should get round there more often.

Must stop before starting to sound like the J+R show!! smiling smiley

I know some fun singletrack in Tentsmuir forest, dead handy in wet weather as it drains so well. Sidlaws for me is all about finding technical mountain biking trails, there's some great stuff that's interesting without being life-threatening.
The Angus Glens contain some superb big days out in the hills for bikers; nearly all of the munros can be biked to the top of with a bit of careful route planning. And maybe a wee bit of a carry sometimes...
