Just got back from the match in Paris. Amazing result. :-)
Hopefully if we can qualify, it'll be a 3 week skiing holiday in the alps next summer, catching the occasional Scotland game!

What's the use of beating France if Scotland loses against Georgia and now needs to beat Italy to qualify ? I hope Scotland can still do it.

Yes indeed JC ! You are right. May be Scotland will play a better football under pressure. I wish they kick Italy out of the competition.

Lionel - Nothing would better than than the Auld Alliance going through and ditching the Italians. If, and it's a massive IF, Scotland beat Italy, it will be the greatest result since 1314! ;-)
All the French fans were of the same mind, I was in the french end at the game in Paris and it was a joy to watch the game with them - continual updates on how Italy were doing and "L'Ecosse et La France - il faut que nous gangons!'.
We all joined in singing "Aux armes, CITOYENS!". C'etait tres beau.
At the final whistle, we couldn't believe we'd won and it was an amazing celebration, but ALL the french folk were doing l'embrace and hoping we'd meet up again in the Alpine regions next summer. A great hands across the sea sookie pash! Bon Chance indeed. :-)

I totally agree with your nice message. I am inmpressed as you can also speak French and sing some words of the Marseillaise. Yes indeed France and Scotland must win and I hope you can come over to Switzerland to watch the games. Good luck to both countries. Are you a member of the Tartan Army ?
