Virtual Earth

Was looking at which of the imaging providers had decent satellite detail of our resorts and Microsoft's Live.com seems to come out trumps. Infact, there Virtual Earth plug-in for Firefox has a pretty cool terrain feature and it combines this ala Google Earth to create 3D views. Here's a shot from the CML car park looking up the mountain.

Quite impressed. They have fairly detailed images of the Lecht but sadly nothing on Glenshee, Nevis Range or Glencoe.
