The Black Isle Red Kite Ale is very good. I've bought it from Tesco. My first taste of it was at the Outsider Festival - it had sold out by Saturday night! sad smiley

I worked for the Black Isle Brewery for 3 years so know the stuff well winking smiley

No additives and pure water mean that hangovers are definitely reduced (less toxins for your body to break down) plus flavour is superb compared to mass-produced pish like tennents/stella etc. (but this goes for any micro brewed beer/ale).

My favourites are the Wheat Beer and the Porter.... not available in Tescos but worth hunting down. These are both bottle conditioned so have some yeast sediment present - full of b vitamins and good for the gut!

I concur.... Cairngorm beer also very good. Both breweries are worth a visit for a tour and free samples if you are in the highlands by the way!
