Giant Faith 3 Mountain Bike £600
Date Posted: 17.26hrs on Sat 16 Sep 06
I've had this bike for no more than 4 months and it has done about 200 miles. It is in near as damn it pristene condition with only a few minor scuffs from the odd stack here and there.

It's predominantly a freeride bike but would make a good entry level downhiller.
I'm 5'11" and it's a 20inch frame. While that sounds big, it's actually perfect for me so someone a couple of inches either side of that would suit it fine.

You can find details of it's full UK spec here [www.giant-bicycles.com]

Nothing aftermarket has been added to the bike so what you see above is what you get.

I'm offering it to you for the poultry sum of £850 on a retail of £1500 so don't bother to haggle.

Reading back over this I'm beginning to question myself, but I'm making way for a digital SLR and with any luck some snow in the not too distant future.

If you have any questions or would like to see images of this hog of a bike then just drop me a line either by PM here or on ben at freeskiing.co.uk

Cheers
Ben

BUMP...

Well I ended up getting the SLR but still have the bike. It's in the same condition as above but has now had a service from Highland Cycles and has not been used since.

The only extra I've added is a Truvativ double bolt seat pin which is way stronger than the original.

Seeing as the link to the Giant website has gone, the bike is classed as freeride and I've had a lot of fun riding the Golspie and Glentress trails.

The spec is as follows:

Sizes 20"
Frame 6013 Aluxx SL Fluid Formed 8" Travel
Rear Shock Manitou Metal RP
Fork Marzocchi Drop Off triple 170mm
Headset FSA Pig DH Pro
Chainset TruVativ Hussefelt 22/32
Front Mech Shimano DEORE
Rear Mech Shimano DEORE
Shifters Shimano Alivio 16 speed
Rims Alex Supra BH
Hubs Formula thru'axle F+R
Cassette SRAM PG 850
Tyres Kenda Blue Groove/Nevegal 2.5"
Brakes Hayes SOLE HD
Brake Levers Hayes
Handle Bar Easton riser
Stem 6061 Alloy
Saddle WTB Lazer V
Seat Pin TruVativ double bolt alloy
Pedals TruVativ Holzfeller platform
R.R.P. £1,500

I've now had this bike for 11 months and it's yours for £600.

Loads of photos and if you're interested then I look forward to hearing from you.
