Hi

Im curious what people wear between their thermals, ski socks and salopettes. Ive always worn light tracksuit bottoms or joggers and tucked into ski boot, however have a feeling this is wrong and im missing some sort of 'mid layer' on the lower half.

I cant imagine thermal bottoms and salopettes on top be very warm? I could be wrong though.

Any advice?

I have never worn more than base layer/thermals and salopettes. As long as your upper body is warm enough... gives you flexibility to easily remove an upper half layer if too warm. Not so easy to do that on the bottom half, removing boots etc.

I have only come close to being too cold once or twice like that and it has been windy and < -15C.
